Abstract

Shortly after the arrival of Dr. H. W. "Bill" Heller as campus dean, Mike Wright prepared this report of Campus Computing Services. Wright, the lab manager and leading technology officer at the time, also taught computer science courses at USF St. Petersburg. This booklet offers a timeline of campus computing services up to 1992, lists services and support offered to members of the USFSP community at that time, as well as summaries of accomplishments and a technology and software inventory from 1992. At the time this report was submitted, the primary open-use computing lab resided on the south side of the second floor of Davis Hall. Under Wright's management, the lab offered student access seven days per week during academic semesters.
