Abstract
Contact is a movement exploration centered around the importance of human connection. The piece originated from observing people as they interact with others, whether it is a first encounter, a tender moment, or a heated argument. Contact's primary focus is movement as the basic form communication. Tonight, you will experience the meeting of three strangers. Their journey will take you through their awkward first encounter to the blossoming of a new friendships, and even a subtle romance. But, what happens to the new contact between these new individuals when their communication is unclear or ignored? How does a change in contact spark a confrontation? Can a broken relationship be repaired with just one touch?
