Abstract
Printmaking has a utilitarian history, from first being used to print playing cards for entertainment and as a way to disseminate information to a large audience. But in the hands of a creative artist, printmaking takes on a new life and meaning. Explore printmaking as an artistic medium and the various techniques employed by eight local artists.
