Abstract
In the tradition of the 19th century "Salons" in Paris where patrons could experience an artists' work in a close setting, Studio@620 introduces a new series, "Le Salon de Danse." Among the many visual artists who exhibited at the Paris Salons, it was also where dance pioneer Isadora Duncan first introduced her groundbreaking trends in interpretive dance to an enthusiastic bourgeois audience. In homage to that era this new series brings audience closer to a contemporary choreographers work in an evening's program of short solos in the intimate setting of the Studio @ 620.
