Abstract
A Harlem Renaissance Event Presented at The Mahaffey Directed by Bob Devin Jones Musical Direction by Nate Najar Hosted by Tampa Bay Times Columnist Sandra Gadsen This inaugural event will launch the yearlong celebration of the Harlem Renaissance! Join us for an evening you will always remember filled with live performances by Dundo Dole Urban African Ballet, John Lamb, Nate Najar, Michael Lynche, Buster Cooper, Sharon Scott and Bob Devin Jones. There will be a Q&A sessions with Mr. Belafonte and award-winning author Ray Arsenault and Tampa Bay Times journalists Eric Deggans and Colette Bancroft plus an opportunity to purchase a copy of Mr. Belafonte’s new memoir “My Song” and have it signed.
