Abstract
The Blue Scarf Collective and The Studio@620 present “Murder Ballad” as part of the Golden Ticket Theatre Series. “Murder Ballad” tells the story of men and women in Knoxville, TN, one year after the end of the Civil War, as they struggle to accept the tragedies they experienced during the war, and embrace love and life. Based on the stories in traditional American murder ballads, the play is a tense, spooky, heartbreaking and hopeful look at how war affects community. Directed by Selena Ambush.
