Abstract

The Studio@620 welcomes photographer Lamar Marchese as he presents “PRIDE (and Prejudice) A Photo Essay”. The exhibit of large format color photographs documents the 2009 & 2010 Gay Pride Parade in St. Petersburg, one of the largest such events in the southeast. As a photographer, Marchese's interest lies in the canvas of the human face and is a mix of portraiture and photojournalism.
