Abstract
It's turn of the century Ireland and things are changing throughout the island. Restless after years of British rule, Irish Patriots begin to stand up and take back their homeland. Jack Gerreghty doesn't think fighting is the answer, until he meets the love of his life, Rachel. Beginning 16 years before the Easter Rising, Manifesto tells a story of a battle for a country that refuses to give up and a love that cannot be defeated. Presented in a workshop format with a string quartet, Manifesto offers an opportunity to see new musical theatre followed by a brief talk-back with the Composer/Playwright and Company.
