Abstract

The Studio@620, projectAlchemy, and Rebekah Lazaridis present a new collaborative experience centered around the idea that in order to truly change, sacrifices must be made. Redefining cycles of renewal through interactive design and performance, “Bloom and Residue” is an immersive experience that marries dance with visual art while exploring themes of change, transformation and new life. This experience is not a typical dance performance and the audience will stand and move thru The Studio@620 space, similar to the way an art exhibit is traditionally viewed.
