Abstract
A solo exhibition by Coralette Damme Since her debut exhibition at The Studio in 2013, Coralette has continued to develop her skills as an artist/printmaker. The works in this show will highlight her linoleum block prints with some additional surprises mixed in. “ROOTWORKER” is a reflection on the study or origins. Coralette’s interest in her Germanic heritage has led her down paths researching folk lore and folk beliefs, and the resulting spirit of intention that is found where these paths intersect. I have noticed that things I feel on an intuitive level have roots in ancient systems of belief and story telling. I’ve created these new images to illustrate and pay homage to those concepts. —Coralette Damme
