Abstract

The Studio@620 invites you to view a series of recent artwork, “If You Could Speak My Language”, by St. Petersburg artist Claudia Strano. An opening reception with musical performance by Imani Woomera will be held Friday December 13 from 6-9 PM, admission is free and open to the public. This series was unintentional. It evolved over a time when all my senses were put to the test. This series was an escape valve, a way to communicate when speech was almost impossible. When I fought breast cancer 3 years ago, I caved into the one thing I know best—my art. —Claudia Strano
