Abstract
The expansive breeding range of Blue-Winged Teal stretches from the Canadian Arctic to northern Texas while, in the eastern United States, their non-breeding winter range extends from Florida and continues south throughout the Caribbean, Central America, and northern South America. In the United States, the highest winter densities occur in southern Texas and peninsular Florida in early January, but teal are present in Florida throughout the year.
