Abstract
Oral history interview with Dr. Shawn Clem, the Research Director of the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. In this interview, Dr. Clem discusses becoming interested in environmental science from an early age and how a career in ecology and hydrology sprang from her curiosity about the natural world. Clem talks about her years of research programs, data gathering, and partnerships with colleagues that have gone into studies of the issues impacting Florida wildlife. Dr. Clem also details the conservation efforts needed to maintain protected habitats.
