Abstract
Melinda Chavez, Executive Director of the Tampa Bay Business Committee for the Arts discusses the history of the organization. Ms. Chavez describes the TBBCA's role in the community and the financial impact the organization has on the Tampa Bay area. She also discusses how the TBBCA works with the Tampa Chamber of Commerce to help build a strong cultural community. Ms. Chavez also discusses Arte 2007, Cultural Encounters, Let's Go Arts, and the Master Chorale of Tampa Bay. The interview ends with a discussion of the Florida Craftsmen organization and their program entitled "At Home with Crafts."
