Abstract

A dime novel about two American sailors stranded in the Arctic after a confrontation with a Russian warship near the Lena River delta. Their search for survival leads to Big Bone Island, where they encounter a mysterious Russian exile, hidden dangers in the ice fields, and discoveries preserved in the frozen wilderness of Siberia.
