Abstract

A dime novel set during the War of the Austrian Succession, following Fontenoy Farrell, a young scout serving with the Irish Brigade in the French army. As he carries messages through enemy lines, he becomes entangled in plots of betrayal, captures, and daring rescues during the Battle of Fontenoy.
