Author Biography

Collin Thigpen is a former US Marine Corps Sergeant (0311 Rifleman) and current member of the Florida National Guard with experience in squad leadership, operational coordination, and interagency support during Operation Allies Welcome. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from Texas State University and a Master of Science in Homeland Security from Sam Houston State University with an academic focus in intelligence analysis, social network analysis, and threat assessment. He currently serves as a Crime Intelligence Analyst with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement (FDLE), and has previous experience in criminal justice, parole supervision, and intelligence-driven research and analysis.
