Author Biography
Naveen Khan is a Nonresident Research Fellow at the prestigious University of Akron’s Michael J. Morrell Center for Intelligence and Security Studies. She also writes as a Columnist for the Washington-based Government Technology and Services Coalition’s Homeland Security Today magazine. Her specialization in Afghanistan-Pakistan security affairs reflects a commitment to unraveling the intricacies of regional geopolitics, terrorism, and conflict resolution. With a focus on global security dynamics, particularly in the volatile region of South-Central Asia, Naveen disseminates her perspectives on contemporary security challenges and policy implications through her work that has been published in various international outlets, such as The Diplomat, Himal Southasian, Geopolitical Monitor, Modern Diplomacy, The News International, and the Johns Hopkins University’s School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Review of International Affairs. Holding an MSc in Sociology from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), she has conducted original primary research in the Afghanistan-Pakistan region.
