Author Biography
Jae Eun Han is a Ph.D. student in Political Science at the Schar School of Policy and Government, George Mason University. Her research focuses on conventional and nuclear deterrence and alliance dynamics in Northeast Asia. She has extensive experience in security and policy research, having worked as a research associate at The Sejong Institute, a leading think tank in South Korea, and as an editor for Korea on Point. She earned her Master of International Affairs from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs (SIPA) and Korea University’s Graduate School of International Studies (GSIS), where she researched North Korea’s nuclear strategy and US extended deterrence.
