Author Biography
Currently Visiting Research Professor at the Center for Strategic Leadership, Homeland Defense and Security Studies, Strategic Landpower Futures Group at the United States Army War College in Carlisle, PA. and Professor of International Relations and Comparative Politics at Georgia Southern University, Savannah Campus, Savannah, GA. Dr. da Cruz received his Ph.D. from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio, in Comparative Politics and International Relations. His publications have appeared in the Journal of Advanced Military Studies, International Journal of Security Studies & Practice, International Social Science Review, and Journal of Global South Studies. He is the editor of Xenophobia and Nativism in Africa, Latin America, and the Caribbean 2023 (Routledge Studies in the Modern History of Africa).
