Abstract
In this oral history interview, William "Rodney" Levins, a dedicated rancher at the Hollinswood Ranch, shares his firsthand experience with various animals including horses and cattle. Levins recounts a number of harrowing incidents on the ranch's south pasture involving these majestic creatures. Additionally, Levins sheds light on the shrinking size of the ranch as a result of selling to a power plant and mining company. Levins' perspective on the estate is particularly noteworthy as he was one of the few ranchers who worked at Hollinswood Ranch prior to the sale of portions to the mining company.
