Abstract

During the tenure of Tampa Mayor Sandy Freedman (1986-1995), Gina Grimes first served as the Assistant City Attorney and later as the Chief Assistant City Attorney. The interview begins with Ms. Grimes discussing her education and how she came to work for the Tampa City Attorney's Office. The interview continues with a discussion of Tampa DRI (Development of Regional Impact), FQD (Florida Quality Development), and regional environmental and transportation issues. The interview ends with Ms. Grimes discussing the Freedman administration and how it differs from the three other administrations she has worked for.
