Abstract
Oral history interview with Dr. Jerome [Jerry] Lorenz, the State Research Director for Audubon Florida. In this interview, Dr. Lorenz discusses his early interest in science, the Everglades Science Center in the 1990s, and his further research regarding the near extinction of the spoonbills and flamingos in Florida. Dr. Jerome Lorenz also illustrates the establishment of the spoonbill banding program in Florida Bay and Tampa Bay.
