Abstract
This is an oral history interview with Dr. Lisa Korte, Director of the Corkscrew Swamp Sanctuary. In the interview, she discusses her education at both Cornell University and the University of Florida while pursuing a career in zoology, before switching focus to ecology and wildlife conservation. Dr. Korte also discusses working in Africa, where she developed the skills to oversee land management as well as gaining the experience in monitoring and protecting biodiversity.
