Author Biography

Leslie Ritchie is Associate Professor of English at Queen's University, Canada. She is the author of Women Writing Music in Late Eighteenth-Century England: Social Harmony in Literature and Performance (2008), and of articles concerning amateur theatricality, pedagogy, theatre and commerce, and David Garrick. Her work in progress is titled David Garrick and the Mediation of Celebrity.
