Author Biography

Katherine Binhammer is a professor in the Department of English and Film Studies at the University of Alberta. She has recently published Downward Mobility: The Form of Capital and the Sentimental Novel (Johns Hopkins). She is currently literary director of The Orlando Project and co-writing (with Isobel Grundy) the pre-1800 volume of the 4 volume series Orlando's Feminist Literary History of Women's Writing in the British Isles (under contract with Cambridge UP).
