The 2026 Sinkhole Conference will be held at the Albany Convention Center in Albany, New York October 5 - 9, 2026. The conference is hosted by the National Cave and Karst Research Institute, a research center of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology. We are expecting a full program of oral and poster presentations, and look forward to your participation.
If you would like to give a presentation at the conference, the first step is to click on the "Submit Abstract" link in the left sidebar. Abstracts can be submitted until midnight MDT on February 20, 2026. The organizing committee will review all abstracts, and contact authors not later than February 27 regarding acceptance.
If your abstract is accepted, you will be notified about the process for submitting your full paper for review. Full papers are published in the proceedings volume, and are required for all presentations. Please also note, at least one author for each paper must be eventually registered for the conference.
