Abstract
For the fi rst time, photographic documentation exposes adult individuals of the Pied-billed Grebe Podilymbus podiceps and the Caribbean Coot Fulica caribaea with their fl edglings in freshwater ponds of Península de Araya, Sucre state, Venezuela. The information collected represent an evidence of breeding activity in both species for the mentioned locality and Sucre state.
