Abstract
The White-tailed Hawk Elanus leucurus has a wide distribution in America, from Canada to Argentina. Although the species has been recorded in nearby islands of Curacao, Aruba, Bonaire, and Trinidad, there were no records in Venezuela’s insular area. This note shows the fi rst photographic record of the White-tailed Hawk in Margarita Island for September 2017.
