Author Biography

Dr. Mark T. Peters II served for 22 years as a US Air Force Intelligence officer, overseeing a range of operations, from fighters and drones to satellites.  He holds multiple certifications as a cybersecurity expert, a Ph.D. in Information Technology (Capella), and a Strategic Security Doctorate (Henley-Putnam).  He recently published “Confident DevOps” (2024, Kogan Page) and "Mastering Platform Engineering" (Packt, June 27, 2025). He also authored "Cashing in on Cyberpower," analyzing a decade of cyberattacks, and has written 100+ reviews/articles and numerous courses for Starweaver, Coursera, and PeopleCert.
