Abstract

The value chain approach, developed since the 1980s, offers businesses a framework to analyze activities and create added value. The tourism industry, vital for the global economy, exemplifies value chain dynamics and methods to enhance added value. Promotion processes within value chains allow for strategic decisions, including education and technology adoption. Effective strategies can be bolstered by employee training and gamification, enhancing skills and motivation. This study aims to assess the relationship between business strategies in tourism value chains and gamification's impact on employee skill development, providing valuable insights for the industry.
