Abstract

The Cuban Club is in yellow brick with white stone trim. Its fourth story narrows on the entrance facade to a pedimented pavilion which rises above the balustrade topping the third floor on this side, while on the long side the fourth floor has a prominent white stone architrave which dips down between the round-headed windows. The dark red risers of the entrance steps contrast nicely with the stone and the wall brick. The steps lead to a recessed double-storied portico off the main entrance. The first story serves as a pedestal and has a prominent water table to set it off from the rest. Listed on the National Register of Historic Places. This is a view of the east facade.
