Abstract

Built in 1911, the church and its manse are a fairly typical example of the Mission Style. Note, for example, the stuccoed wall (instead of adobe) and the shaped gable which rises as a parapet above the roofline. A Sunday school building was added later, in keeping with the rest. The second building boom, of the 1920s, would see many of these Mediterranean flavored buildings. Title supplied by cataloger. Description supplied by Sape A. Zylstra.
