Abstract

Interim Dean Karen Spear and faculty at USF St. Petersburg reviewed the status of the campus and developed a vision to expand the role of USFSP. Spear submitted this proposal to Provost Gerry Meisels and Dean Barbara Sherman at USF Tampa, who then communicated it to USF President Francis T. Borkowski. The long-range planning efforts outlined in the document attempted to give the campus greater autonomy and sovereignty.
