The objective of this paper is to compare the difference in the efficiency of acceleration, of a 2018 Audi A8, in two distinct scenarios where the tire pressure is kept at a maximum and partial level. The approach towards solving the issue is multi-faceted, the efficiency is dependent on the difference in the time it takes for the car to accelerate, thus to obtain the elapsed time, the foundational basis is set by the relations between Torque/Force, and RPM/Speed of the vehicle. All the calculations are completed by using the data extracted from the car’s specifications set (Automobile Catalog). Newton’s 2nd Law of Motion is also used to relate Force Output and Speed to the aforementioned relationship, such that data for Force/Speed and consequently, Inverse Force/Speed is tabulated and plotted. The efficiency is then determined through analyzing the area under the graphs which represent the time elapsed. The results conclude that the efficiency of the car is affected adversely when the tire radius decreases upon a fall in tire pressure, and vice versa.
