Abstract
White‑winged Doves (Zenida asiatica) are becoming common place in many urban areas of Texas. In Texas these doves historically used to be restricted to South and West Texas. Some of the historical habitat changes and human population shifts may have brought about this shift further north. A brief summary of the past 50 years of population estimates and habitat development and preservation will be presented to bring the audience up to date on the history of this bird.
