Maternal care is very important in many mammalian and bird species. In the case of ducks, maternal care is extremely important as in most scenarios male ducks are absent for a variety of reasons. In this research article, I reviewed four different kinds of ducks and their relative number of offspring and relative offspring size. Additionally, I also look at the type of predators that most commonly attack ducks. I also discuss what kind of habitats, evolution, diets, and more of ducks to further add onto the project.
