Text in Latin. Original image found in: Sacred leaves beyond the quill ... printed books, 1450 - 1500. Printed by Johann Reger, Ulm, Germany. Text identification: Guillame Caoursin's obsidionis rhodiae urbis descriptio chronicles the siege of Rhodes in 1480. The account describes the events witnessed by Caoursin, the vice-chancellor of the knights of saint John of Jerusalem. Items in this collection are only available online; we do not have physical copies of these items in the USF Library's Special Collections. The original items were returned to the donor.
