Text in German. Original image found in: Sacred leaves beyond the quill ... printed books, 1450 - 1500. Printed by Anton Koberger, Nuremberg, Germany. Text identification: The legenda aurea sanctorum (golden legend), written ca. 1260 by Jacobus de Voragine, is a compilation on the lives of the saints and includes their miracles, martyrdoms, and patronage. Items in this collection are only available online; we do not have physical copies of these items in the USF Library's Special Collections. The original items were returned to the donor.
