Text in Latin. Original image found in: Sacred leaves books of hours: illuminated devotion. Text identification: Hours of the Virgin, lauds: lines 2-14 of psalm 148 and 1-4 of psalm 149. This leaf was purchased from Sotheby's in 1984. Sotheby's, Western manuscripts and miniatures, London, July 3, 1984, lot 84. Sister leaves from the same manuscript can be found in Maggs Bros. Ltd., London, 1999, (Catalgoue 1283), lot 41 and Stephen Fliegel, The Jeanne Miles Blackburn collection of manuscript illuminations, Cleveland museum of art, Cleveland, 1999, p. 63. Items in this collection are only available online; we do not have physical copies of these items in the USF Library's Special Collections. The original items were returned to the donor.
