Abstract

The Petroglyphs of Las Cuevas/Tlaxcala, Mecixo. Description of the discovery, location, and size of the mainly figurative petroglyphs on a group of rocks near the village of Las Cuevas, Municipio Atltzayanca. The more than 150 petroglyphs whose temporal placements is difficult to determine, are spread over two complexes and consist, above all, of stick figures, a few heads, animals and a number of figures difficult to interpret. Los petrograbados de Las Cuevas/Tlaxcala, México. Descripción del descubrimiento, del sitio y de la extensión de los petrograbados, en su mayora figurativos, que se encuentran en un sitio rocoso cerca del pueblo de Las Cuevas, Municipio Atltzayanca. Los petrograbados — mas de 150 — cuyo fechamiento no es posible, se distribuyen entre dos complejos y consisten sobre todo en „hombrecillos a rayas“, algunas cabezas, pocos grabados de animales y algunas figuras difícil de interpretar.
