Abstract
Sandra Owens Priest and Jackie Priest Armstrong recently sat down with Marilyn Polson to share their experiences working on Hollinswood Ranch during their teenage years. The sisters spoke fondly of their time there, describing how they would brand, mark, and dip cows and the various other jobs they performed around the ranch. Their connection to Hollinswood Ranch was through their father, W.C. Priest, the primary ranch hand. Sandra and Jackie reminisced about the horses that were bred, kept, and ridden on the ranch and shared stories about their father's work and life. In addition, the sisters describe the Cross Florida Barge Canals' impact on the ranch.
