Abstract
Two letters to John William Hardy, the bird curator at the Florida Museum of Natural History and Audubon Club president, from lawyer Samuel M. McMillan, the man who found the first white-collared swift specimen in the U.S. McMillan send mores wind reports and machine copies of the witness statements from neighbors who might have seen the rare bird.
