Abstract
Trang Viet, owner of Trang Viet Cuisine Restaurant, discusses his early life in Vietnam, how he came to the United States, and how he opened his restaurant. The interview begins with a lengthy discussion about Mr. Viet's childhood and family, and how he left Vietnam in 1973 and attended university in the United States. The interview continues with an explanation of Mr. Viet's work in Saudi Arabia in the 1980s and how he returned to the United States and settled in Florida. The interview concludes with a discussion about the restaurant, Vietnamese food, and Mr. Viet's family.
