Abstract

The Ashland Hawk Watch is a joint project between the Delaware Nature Society (DNS), the Delaware Ornithological Society (DOS), and the Delaware Department of Natural Resources and Environmental Control (DNREC). This project was funded, in full or part, through a grant from the Delaware Division of Fish and Wildlife with funding from the Division of Federal Aid, United States Fish and Wildlife Service under the State Wildlife Grants Program. DNS manages the Hawk Watch Coordinator and volunteer counters and provides housing and office accommodations for the coordinator. The hawk watch is conducted from Hawk Watch Hill at the DNS headquarters, Ashland Nature Center in Hockessin, Delaware.
