The Delaware Ornithologist (formerly Delmarva Ornithologist) is the annual journal of the Delaware Ornithological Society (DOS) and is sent to all members in good standing in December of every year.
It publishes articles related to birds in Delaware including behavior and rare bird sightings. The results of DOS citizen science activities including the hawk watches, the Passing Scene, and activities of the Delaware Bird Records Committees are also published.
Anyone is welcome to submit articles for publication. Completed articles and questions about submitting an article or suitable topics can be submitted to the Managing Editor. Articles are due by 15 August of every year.
