Abstract

In this oral history, Cliff Gibbons, an accomplished attorney and consultant specializing in international trade agreements, shares his journey and passion for advocating free trade in public service. Cliff attributes much of his success to his father’s impact on Florida Politics. Alongside his father’s legacy, he describes his mother’s early life in Tampa and her active participation in events and social clubs. Cliff Gibbons ends this oral history with a discussion about his father’s push for the Education Committee in Florida. This introduction paves the way for an exciting series, where Cliff Gibbons reminisces about the state of Florida politics and shares his thoughts on Sam Gibbons’ legacy.
