Abstract
Scott Christopher discusses the many changes he has witnessed over the years in Tampa, and his role as a leader in Tampa's early business community. He led the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce for 27 years, and, after retiring, wrote a book detailing the Chamber's role in the development of Tampa. Mr. Christopher was instrumental in promoting Tampa International Airport and in bringing the University of South Florida to Tampa.
